Dear Ohio Tide,
Thank you all for being a part of this inaugural season. We hope you have enjoyed being a member of Ohio Tide and appreciate the possibilities of being a part of this new organization. The entire coaching staff appreciates everyone’s hard work to restart the summer during this unprecedented time and your parental support in helping to get your Tide players to all the practices and games while also being their biggest fans.
We wanted to formally announce that as T.J. Donovan has remained the Head Coach of the 11U Blue Team, he is no longer serving in the role of Executive Director of Ohio Tide. We are extremely appreciative of everything T.J. has done for the organization and your players. If you have any questions on the direction of the club, please contact either the Director of Baseball Operations, Aaron Brandt, or the Chief Administrator, C.J. Musser.
In preparation for the 2021 season, Ohio Tide is re-assessing the structure of the organization in an effort to enhance the baseball program. We anticipate building on the successes of our inaugural season to continue our organization’s growth and your feedback is important in this evolvement. Tryouts and information for the 2021 season will be coming soon and we look forward to welcoming each of you back to the Tide family for year two.
We remain committed to the experience for all our players to provide a platform where student-athletes can achieve various levels of success, through character and physical development in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Hawken is thrilled to announce the launch of a new enterprise to serve youth baseball and softball with the creation of a new premier club program. We will be partnering with T.J. Donovan, formerly of the Golden Spikes baseball club, to launch a new club called Ohio Tide. The new club will serve boys baseball 9u thru 18u as well as a collegiate team and girls softball 10u thru 18u.
While the new club will operate within its own business model, Hawken will provide structural support to allow for security and consistency when it comes to facility and field access and use, fiscal management, hiring and personnel management, equipment and apparel purchasing and distribution, marketing and promotion, and other organizational needs.
